Supposedly the Loch Ness monster lives in the Scottish Highlands. It is apparently 23 miles long. Stories of the creatures trace back from 1,000 years ago. The myth then was popular in the papers in the 1930’s. The myth continued from the “Surgeon’s Photograph” which was taken in 1934.

Is the Loch Ness monster real?

There is no evidence of the Loch Ness monster being real, yet no one knows if it is real or not. Christian Spurling confessed on his death bed in 1994, that the “Surgeon’s Photograph” was staged using a toy submarine. Many are convinced the Loch Ness monster is a surviving plesiosaur, giant eel, or wind illusions. Sonar scans and DNA study have found no real evidence of the Loch Ness living there.
